The Short and Sweet of It

My name is Adam Noble. I was born and raised in small-town Alberta where I work full-time as a Millwright. I love my job, but my true passion is for travel and photography.  I spend as much time as I can outdoors in beautiful places taking photos of landscapes and wildlife.

Who am I and how did I get here?

My want to travel the world exploded into a need when I took my first solo trip to Australia at age 18. Since then, I've been using my vacation time to make my way across the globe, stopping in countries like Italy, Guatemala, South Africa, and New Zealand to name a very select few. Coming from such a small town, I knew Australia was going to be a big experience for me and that I would want to capture it, so I purchased my first camera: a Canon PowerShot S5 IS.

An amateur at this point in time, I hungered to learn to take better photos so I could share the depth of the beauty I experienced first-hand with the world. Over the years I've learned quite a lot through internet research, videos, tutorials, conversations with peers, workshops, and a lot of trial and error. Although I've grown more confident in my photography, I know I will never stop learning - as my wife always says, "you don't know what you don't know!"

I currently shoot mainly with my Canon 6D Mark II, but I do sometimes still reach for my Canon Rebel T5i. I have a selection of lenses ranging from 14-600mm and am always window-shopping for new gear.

At home, I have a wife and 2 beautiful children who join me in my travels and support me in my art. My wife, Chloe, runs my website and assists me in the administrative aspects of my business.

Even putting travel photography aside, living in remote, Northern Alberta has given me excellent photo opportunities - from the Northern Lights to the untouched land, from wild horses, to bears, to bison, the unexplored wilderness lurks just beyond my doorstep.
